The Fire Academy in Warsaw is a public university of state services, which educates and raises firefighters of the State Fire Service, officers of other services and civilians in the field of public safety and population protection. At the same time, it is an organizational unit of the State Fire Service. The academy offers two fields of study: security engineering (a field of engineering and technical sciences, discipline: environmental engineering, mining and energy) and internal security (a field of social sciences, discipline: security sciences). Currently, there are about 1.8 thousand students studying at the university, of which 15.7% are women and 0.2% are foreigners. Last academic year, 495 graduates left the university. For the academic year 2024/2025, 674 male and female students started their studies, including 2 foreigners. The academy employs 133 full-time academic teachers, 38.3% of whom are women.
