The Stefan Batory Academy of Applied Sciences (ANSB) is a public vocational university that was established in 2005. On January 14, 2022, the university obtained the status of an academy and adopted its current name. Since then, it has expanded its educational offer to include teaching majors and began educating in modern teaching spaces. In 2023, the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center was launched and construction of a teaching shooting range began. Currently, the university offers education in the following fields: finance and accounting, managerial economic and legal studies, management, computer science, administration, internal security, horticulture, pedagogy (first and second cycle studies), preschool and early school pedagogy, nursing, and emergency medical services. The university has 939 students, of whom 60.2% are women and 0.9% are foreigners. Last year, 280 graduates graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 452 male and female students began their studies, including 4 from outside Poland. The teaching staff includes 76 full-time academic teachers, of whom 61.8% are women.
