864 / 5 000 The Witold Pilecki State University of Applied Sciences in Oświęcim, previously known as the Witold Pilecki State Higher Vocational School in Oświęcim, is a public vocational university established in 2005. The establishment of the university in Oświęcim was a joint initiative of the local government authorities of the Oświęcim district, the Małopolska province and the city of Oświęcim. The university offers studies at the bachelor's, engineer's and master's levels, and all fields of study have a practical profile. Currently, the university has 1,701 students, of whom 61.7% are women and 2.6% are foreigners. Last year, 456 graduates graduated from it. In the academic year 2024/2025, 728 male and female students began their studies, including 11 foreigners. The employment structure at the university includes 98 full-time academic teachers, of whom 59.2% are women.
