The Łomża Academy was established on July 1, 2004, based on the regulation of the Council of Ministers of June 22, 2004, initially as the State Higher School of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship in Łomża. The university offers first-cycle and second-cycle studies as well as uniform master's studies, carried out at four faculties, which provides attractive opportunities for career development. Currently, the Łomża Academy educates nearly 1.7 thousand students, of whom 62.3% are women and 3.8% are foreigners. Last year, the university said goodbye to 545 graduates. In the academic year 2024/2025, 775 male and female students began their studies, including 20 foreigners. The university employs 115 academic teachers, of whom 56.5% are women.
