The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Włocławek was founded in 2002 and is the only vocational university in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The university offers first and second cycle studies, including bachelor's, engineer's and master's degrees. The university consists of four faculties: the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Faculty of Economics and Law, the Faculty of Engineering and Technical Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Currently, the university has 1,391 students, of whom 64.3% are women and 0.4% are foreigners. Last academic year, 332 graduates graduated from it. In the academic year 2024/2025, 665 male and female students began their studies, including 2 foreigners. The university employs 78 full-time academic teachers, of whom 51.3% are women.
