The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl is a public vocational university established in 2001 in Przemyśl. Initially, it was established as a humanities institution, referring to the oldest academic traditions of this city. Currently, the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl offers studies in various fields, including the following fields: humanities (English Philology, History), social (cross-border security, international relations, cross-border security and relations - second-cycle studies), medicine (nursing), arts (interior design, graphic design - first and second cycle studies) and technical (food safety and production, computer science in business, transport and logistics engineering, mechatronics and intelligent technologies - second cycle studies). The educational offer is complemented by artistic courses conducted by the Institute of Design Arts. Currently, the university educates over 900 students, of whom 55.4% are women and 21.5% are foreigners. Last academic year, 271 graduates left the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 437 male and female students began their studies, including 97 foreigners. The university employs 79 academic teachers, of whom 53.2% are women.
