The Stanisław Staszic Academy of Applied Sciences in Piła is a public vocational university established in 2000. The university offers education in the following fields: construction, physiotherapy, economics, electrical engineering, cosmetology, applied linguistics, mechanical engineering, nursing, forensics, transport, emergency medical services and pedagogy. In 2019, the Medical Simulation Center was opened, where nursing students are educated. There are currently 1,225 students studying at the university, of which 61.6% are women and 1.1% are foreigners. Last academic year, 330 students graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 540 male and female students began their studies, including 11 foreigners. The university employs 107 full-time academic teachers, of which 45.8% are women.
