The Ignacy Mościcki State Academy of Applied Sciences in Ciechanów was established in 2001. The university offers education at three faculties: the Faculty of Engineering and Economics, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Sciences, and the PUZ Branch in Mława - the Faculty of Technical and Social Sciences.

Currently, the university has 1,633 students, of whom 54.3% are women and 0.6% are foreigners. Last year, 381 graduates graduated from it. In the academic year 2024/2025, 725 male and female students began their studies, including 3 foreigners.

The university employs 113 full-time academic teachers, of whom 48.7% are women.
