The University of Physiotherapy in Wrocław is one of several non-public universities operating in the city. It was founded in 1999 on the initiative of Andrzej Czamara. The university offers education in two main fields, classified as physical culture sciences, in the form of full-time and part-time studies. Its organizational structure includes two institutes and university-wide units. Currently, 761 students study at the university, of which 67.8% are women and 3.3% are foreigners. Last academic year, 276 graduates graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 272 male and female students began their studies, including 8 foreigners. The university employs 19 full-time academic teachers, of which 47.4% are women.
