The Jagiellonian Academy is a private university operating since 2003. Initially, it operated under the name Toruńska Szkoła Wyższa. Then, in the years 2013–2022, it was called Kolegium Jagiellońskie – Toruńska Szkoła Wyższa. It adopted its current name in 2022. All studies offered by the Jagiellonian Academy are practical in nature, which means that they are focused on preparing students for the requirements of the labor market. The university also has a wide range of postgraduate studies and MBA programs. There are currently 783 students studying at the university, of which 58.1% are women and 47.9% are foreigners. Last academic year, the university graduated 245 graduates. In the academic year 2024/2025, 302 male and female students began their studies, including 104 foreigners. The academic staff includes 33 full-time academic teachers, of whom over 33.3% are women.
