The university was founded in 2002 as the Warsaw University of Humanities named after B. Prus. Candidates can choose from numerous specializations in journalism, psychology, pedagogy, and economics. Currently, the university has 1,467 students, of whom 48.4% are women and 51% are foreigners. Last year, 97 graduates left the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 468 male and female students began their studies, including 142 foreigners. The university employs 46 academic teachers, of whom 56.5% are women.
