The College of Tourism and Ecology in Sucha Beskidzka is a private university located in the Sucha Castle, known as the Little Wawel. The university was founded in 2001 and has since offered a wide range of education at the level of first and second cycle higher education, both in the full-time and part-time system. The offer also includes MBA studies, specialist postgraduate studies, specialist education and certified courses and training. The university conducts classes at three faculties: Tourism and Recreation, Computer Science and Social Sciences. Lectures are conducted in Polish and English, which allows for the international exchange of knowledge and competences. Currently, 389 students study at the university, of which 47% are women and 33.2% are foreigners. Last academic year, 51 graduates received their diplomas from the university. For the academic year 2024/2025, 148 male and female students started their studies, including 30 foreigners. The teaching staff includes 21 academic teachers, of whom 23.8% are women, which demonstrates the care for diversity and equality in the university environment.
