The Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź (formerly the Higher School of Humanities and Economics in Łódź) is a private university operating since 1993. The university offers education in several humanities, arts and technical fields. It has five branches. Currently, the university has over 9,000 students, of whom 70.5% are women and 4.5% are foreigners. Last academic year, 2,345 graduates graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 4,189 male and female students began their studies, including 181 foreigners. The university employs 190 full-time academic teachers, of whom 54.7% are women.
