The Academy of Social and Medical Sciences in Lublin – Academy of Applied Sciences (ANSIM) (formerly the Higher School of Social Sciences based in Lublin – WSNS) – is a Polish non-public university founded in 2001. Its initiators were Emilia and Adam Żerel. Currently, the university offers education at first-cycle, supplementary master's, uniform master's and postgraduate studies. The university has over 1.1 thousand students, 71% of whom are women and 0.9% are foreigners. Last academic year, 362 students graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 519 male and female students began their studies, including 7 foreigners. The university employs 36 full-time academic teachers, 72.2% of whom are women.
