In 1992, based on the Higher Education Act, the Higher School of Management and Banking was established in Poznań. It is the oldest non-public university in Wielkopolska and the ninth of its kind in Poland. The originator and founder of the university was Jerzy Pietrzyk, M.Sc. Eng. Thanks to the offered courses of study, the university improves the managerial competences of students and deepens knowledge in the field of law, administration and psychology. Currently, 752 people study at the university, of which 73.3% are women and 1.9% are foreigners. Last year, 198 graduates graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 375 male and female students began their studies, including 8 foreigners. The university employs 20 full-time academic teachers, of which 30% are women.
