The Academy of Applied Medical and Social Sciences (AMiSNS), formerly known as the Elbląg Humanities and Economics University (EUH-E), is a non-public higher education institution. Initially, it operated as a vocational school, and since February 2004, it has had the status of an academic school with the right to conduct master's degree studies. Currently, the school offers education in general academic and practical profiles, with an appropriate teaching and material base. The school has over 1.1 thousand students, of whom 74.4% are women and 0.4% are foreigners. Last academic year, 480 graduates graduated from it. In the academic year 2024/2025, 605 male and female students began their studies, including 5 foreigners. The employment structure at the school includes 71 full-time academic teachers, of whom 57.7% are women.
