By the decision of the Minister of National Education of 29 December 1995, the Częstochowa School of Management was established. The founder of the university is the Częstochowa School of Managers, while the honorary founders are: National-Louis University, the Częstochowa City Council and the Częstochowa Voivode. It is the first educational institution in Częstochowa to begin educating nurses at the academic level. Medical staff have been educated there for over 20 years. The university has a tradition of organizing scientific conferences, including international ones, related to health care. For many years, it has been implementing projects aimed at nurses and midwives, aimed at improving their qualifications. The university currently has 814 students, of whom 92% are women and 0.4% are foreigners. Last year, 222 graduates graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, 299 male and female students began their studies. The university employs 18 full-time academic teachers, 88.9% of whom are women.
