Poznań Medical Academy of Applied Sciences named after Prince Mieszko I (formerly: Academy of Applied Sciences named after Prince Mieszko I in Poznań, Higher School of Pedagogy and Administration named after Mieszko I in Poznań) is a non-public university founded on September 16, 2004. At the beginning of its activity, the university offered two fields of study: pedagogy and administration. Currently, it offers first and second cycle studies and postgraduate studies. Classes are conducted in the form of full-time and part-time studies, using distance learning methods and techniques. The university has approximately 3.2 thousand students, of whom 72.1% are women and 8.3% are foreigners. Last year, 390 students graduated from the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, nearly 1,169 male and female students began their studies, including 112 foreigners. The university employs 62 full-time academic teachers, 41.9% of whom are women.
