The Medical University of Warsaw is one of the largest medical universities in Poland, with a history dating back to 1809. The university's educational offer is based on modern curricula and includes 16 courses in Polish, 3 foreigners, 14 postgraduate studies, the SGH-WUM MBA in Healthcare and numerous specialization, improvement and continuing education courses. The university educates over 10,000 students, of whom 74.8% are women and 7.5% are foreigners. Last year, over 2.1 thousand graduates left the university. In the academic year 2024/2025, over 3.2 thousand male and female students began their studies, including 190 foreigners. The Medical University of Warsaw employs 1,299 full-time academic teachers, of whom 58.1% are women. This staff consists of qualified Polish scientists who care about the health and life of patients, using innovative treatment methods on a national and international scale.
